Went to Ons on a girls night out. Restaurant menu looked pleasing and promising. On arrival we were greeted well and brought upstairs to our table. There is no wine or beer menu, so you sort of have to take a guess at what they have when you order a drink. We started off with the "hummus", which in one word was HORRIBLE! I don't think there was but 1 chickpea in the entire batch! It was a runny and so hot and spicy that our mouths burned... it was completely inedible... truly horrible and not the creamy sesame goodness we were expecting from a traditional hummus. I had the falafels, which were decent Followed up with the Salmon - which I found also decent. One member of our party ordered various appetizers as her main meal - and found them (quite unlike the hummus) to be bland and tasteless. We ordered 3 desserts to share among us... The Strawberry Creme Brulee, Death By Chocolate Cake and the flambeed Bananas with Honey Ice Cream... The Strawberry Creme Brulee wasn't really a creme brulee - but the rest of the desserts were fine. All & All it was about €45 per person - wasn't worth the price for the quality and taste of this dining experience.

I love their Death by Chocolate cake - super nice! Also the menu vary .. nice place and in the summer you can sit outside, also upstairs on their mini-sized balcony :-)

We had a very nice Christmas dinner last year. The food was very nice and also the atmosphere. They have their special hot chocolate drink - you can have it dense :-) Worth to try!

Great restaurant/ I honestly can't remember the details about the food because I was really drunk. I threw up on the waiter's shoes and he was really cool about it and helped me out to a taxi. I plan to return next week for drinks.

We have visited this restaurant a few times. It has a great atmosphere and the food is good. There is a garden out the back. Staff are quick and helpful.

Bagel & Juice

I have had lunch here and it was very good for vegetarians. The juices are fantastic with a great choice. The only thing I don't like about this restaurant is the stairs to the toilets, they are scary!

Oranje Boven

We had a couple of MeetUps in this restaurant and they made us very welcome. The food was good and the ambience was very good. We (10 of us) had a really good time thanks to the staff of this restaurant.

This is a fantastic restaurant. We had a wonderful meal, I am a vegetarian, we had great wine to accompany each dish and a wonderful port with the cheese. Pricey, but well worth it for the effort they take to make your meal taste and look good.

Lekker gegeten, vriendelijke bediening, snel vernieuwend en vers. Hele mooie plek in het centrum van eindhoven. Ik ben benieuwd naar hun terras in de zomer. Ze gaan ook italiaans ijs verkopen. Leuk dat ze zoveel biologisch brood verkopen.

On a Friday evening, we booked a table around 19.30, and a reservation was needed, I'd assume also on a Saturday. I ordered a 4 course surprise menu, with a wine-menu to go with it, and it was brilliant. The food is great (not the usual, I personally really like that), the wine is picked out to match the food and with every glass the waiter tells you where it's from and what it is. The whole experience was excellent, the service was very good, I'd definitely go back! The only downside for some people could be the cost, this menu is 39,50, the wine was 25 (I think...). Try it yourself!

Stads

We have a Meet Up for Eindhoven Expats in Stads every Friday night. We can get good wine, good beer and comfortable seats summer and winter. We are always treated kindly and service is good. The food in Stads is also good, well worth a try.
