Went to Ons on a girls night out. Restaurant menu looked pleasing and promising. On arrival we were greeted well and brought upstairs to our table.
There is no wine or beer menu, so you sort of have to take a guess at what they have when you order a drink.
We started off with the "hummus", which in one word was HORRIBLE! I don't think there was but 1 chickpea in the entire batch! It was a runny and so hot and spicy that our mouths burned... it was completely inedible... truly horrible and not the creamy sesame goodness we were expecting from a traditional hummus.
I had the falafels, which were decent Followed up with the Salmon - which I found also decent. One member of our party ordered various appetizers as her main meal - and found them (quite unlike the hummus) to be bland and tasteless.
We ordered 3 desserts to share among us... The Strawberry Creme Brulee, Death By Chocolate Cake and the flambeed Bananas with Honey Ice Cream... The Strawberry Creme Brulee wasn't really a creme brulee - but the rest of the desserts were fine.
All & All it was about €45 per person - wasn't worth the price for the quality and taste of this dining experience.
