CLOSED - Light Art Museum

If you'ld like to see something new and different you should definitely visit the Light Art Museum in Eindhoven.

The Light Art Museum is housed in the original Philips incandescant lamp factory and it is the only museum of its kind in the Netherlands. In fact, this museum and the well known Centre for International Light Art in Unna, Germany, are the only light art museums in Europe.

The Light Art Museum Eindhoven hosts several exhibitions per year (check our Events for more details), all centered around artificial light, from regular lamps to neon, fluorescent or phosphorescent paint and LED's. You haven't seen the best of the City of Light if you haven't been in its light museum!

I was at the opening last Friday of the light art museum exhibition Who's Afraid of Red, Amber and Green by Chinese artist Li Hui. It was astonishing! Huge light laser installations. Very impressive. If you have a chance, go and see it!
